The Jade goat farm is a small Nigerian goat farm on 5 acres in Moriarty, New Mexico. The Nigerian dwarf goat is a wonderful animal, loving, gentle, and full of personality. They come in a variety of colors and only grow to 17-21". They are fun to show and great for kids. They produce milk that is high in butter fat and makes great cheese. Some use them for meat, but I have to be honest here once you look into those loving eyes it will be difficult to do so. The babies are sooooooo cute, weighing in at 2-4 lbs. at birth, and coming in a rainbow of colors. Even getting blue eyes from time to time.

Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered. The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field. And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household. Proverbs 27: 23-27
